Colorado Chromatography continues to operate its Denver area chromatography laboratory and warehouse outside of Denver dedicated to specialty compound production. Chief Operating Officer, Kyle Ray, told us about their trial.
Ray described the process of extracting CBD from cannabis as one that takes place in a chemical reactor. "Think of the reactor as a black box," Ray told Leafly. "In goes CBD and out comes HHC."

There is a lack of consensus on the effectiveness of HHC. The complication arises in part from the fact that the end result of creating a cannabinoid is a mix of two different types of molecules - 9R-HHC actively binds to natural endocannabinoid receptors.

Colorado Chromatography's Kyle Ray told ONLYHHC that while the ratio of active to inactive HHC molecules can vary from batch to batch, it needs to be 50% active to pass their sample.
"It would take a lot of money and time to isolate and separate these two, which isn't worth it," he explained. Our goal in creating our synthetic HHC is to maximize the amount of the active compound and minimize the amount of the less active compound. Unfortunately, this is never a perfect game - it's usually included somewhere.”
There's no conclusive evidence that marijuana won't show up on a drug test, but many companies and employers are still optimistic.
There is no standardized dose and little to no research on the immediate or long-term effects of ingesting hemp-derived cannabinoids.
Because hemp-derived cannabinoids (including HHC) are not subject to cannabis regulations in legal states for adult use, manufacturers and retailers of HHC products are not required to advertise their products' potency
